JESSICA L. SCHROER, FOUNDER
Jessica L. Schroer is a business strategist with over 20 years of` marketing, advertising and operations experience working with clients such as Anheuser-Busch, the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Burger King and the U.S. Army. During her work with the U.S. Army, she won a Bronze Telly and the McCann Worldgroup Small Business Award. Additionally, she has over 12 years of government contracting and execution experience.
Jessica believes strongly that life is a constant lesson — if you aren’t learning, you aren’t living. This is evident in Jessica’s abundant
personal and professional life. Personally, Jessica volunteers with programs that focus on learning and personal development, such as Mountain Top Ministries, Mi Esperanza, Eastern Missouri District National Speech & Debate Association and Reach Out Honduras. Professionally, she is constantly adapting to the diverse tasks she must accomplish daily. Jessica enjoys coaching and mentoring junior employees while empowering them to stretch beyond their comfort zones in order to learn. Currently, Jessica is on the Zero to 100 advisory board, leading the integrated marketing campaign.
In 2019, Jessica founded The Hummingbird Group, a consulting firm that focuses on supporting nonprofit and small businesses. She helps clients develop the foundational elements needed to support their business.
Jessica received her B.A. in corporate communications and her M.S. in industrial communications with an emphasis in marketing from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri. She received her Contract Management Certificate from St. Louis University. In addition, Jessica has completed online courses in Public Speaking Training & Facilitating, How to Resolve Unresolvable Conflicts in Non-Profits, Planning Risk Management and Grant Writing: Keys to Successful Proposal.
In what little free time she has, Jessica enjoys traveling both stateside and abroad, reading, cross-stitching, spending time with her family and watching the St. Louis Cardinals.
Jessica started The Hummingbird Group in 2019, to provide nonprofits, organizations and individuals first-class business support.
CAT SANDERS, GRAPHIC ARTIST
Cathy Sanders is a graphic artist for Corporate Design Associates (CDA), an accomplished branding, design and graphic production studio specializing in identity and business communications. In her work, she utilizes a wide variety of computer graphics software programs such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Cat brings her creative and multi-talented experience to her projects. She loves what she does and looks forward to every day and every client.
